Wrappin' it up 

        I learned about different cultures hip hop music. Their music is kind of the same and different from our hip hop music. For example, ours is different from theirs because we have a lot of cuss words in it and sometimes you cannot understand the artists because they are rapping to fast. They are the same because all the songs have a amazing beat to it and it makes you want to get up and dance. One thing, I learned about my culture is that costumes are a lot different from India, China, Africa, and Japan. A lot of those costumes have feathers and big head pieces. Also, when those countries dances, it help them remember their language and it keeps their history and traditions alive. When we dance, we just do it for fun. Native American and our culture are kind of the same because when we dance at church, we feel like we are connecting to God. Native Americans feel that way to every time they dance to. One thing, I really liked about this class was learning about different cultures and how their music and dances was different from our music and dances. Also, it was really cool seeing videos of different instruments from each culture. One thing, I wish was different was I wanted to see more dances video from Africa because their dances are really amazing. This course has inspired me to keep a open mind about different styles of music.
